Great Wall View and Private Access Spent Xmas here, the hotel has spectacular views of the Great Wall, which was great. Had private access to a particular section of it which made it even more special. the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.
Service and Food Issues it was very overpriced for what it was. the service was lacking with many staff having a poor command of English, so it was difficult to communicate.

The location of this hotel was amazing, nestled in a peaceful valley with easy access to a private section of the Great Wall. The drinks menu was extensive and the bartender was open to learning new cocktail combinations from the US. Dinner at the Courtyard restaurant on the Great Wall was a memorable experience. The original designs and great architecture of the hotel added to its charm.
The service at this hotel was lacking. Some guests complained about slow waiters who were not very kind and had limited English skills.

Can't beat the stunning views from the valley, and the nearby access to the adds to the unique experience. The villas were all architect-designed, and memorable; especially loved that transportation was taken care of with our own driver. The food was pretty tasty; loved the and appreciated the complimentary cookies and fruits restocked daily. a great break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Didn't appreciate that money exchange and room service weren't available at this price point; caused a bit of unnecessary stress for our group.

This hotel offers a luxurious experience with exclusive amenities such as a fantastic spa and delicious food in both restaurants. the staff provides great personal service and the architecture is impressive. the location is stunning and close to a restored section of the Great Wall, with breathtaking views.
The rooms and furniture are not up to 5-star standards, and there is a lack of personal touch from some staff members. However, the potential of this hotel is overwhelming and the management team shows real passion to make it a spectacular destination.
